We are beyond excited to see so many Ethereum-based applications take off over the past year. Whether it’s crypto art, NFTs, or decentralized finance (DeFi) apps, we are proud to be part of a broader movement that is making blockchain-based applications more accessible to the public

However, increased network usage means higher Ethereum gas costs than ever before. As a result, depositing and withdrawing funds on Polymarket require higher transaction fees as well

Note: Polymarket does not take fees. These fees are paid to facilitate transactions…

You can now deposit instantly to Polymarket via Metamask, accessible by clicking the “Metamask Deposit” button located on the “Fund Your Wallet” page (click on your username in the top-right corner). Metamask will be Polymarket’s primary deposit mechanism for the time being.

  1. Download and install Metamask if you haven’t already (download available here and a simple setup tutorial here).
  2. On Coinbase (or whatever cryptocurrency exchange you prefer), purchase enough ETH for the transaction fee (roughly .05 ETH), and however much USDC you want to deposit into your Polymarket wallet. Send all of the USDC and ETH to your Metamask address.

As of this morning, we are proud to announce that a major update to the Polymarket you know and love has gone live. While a great deal of work went into overhauling Polymarket’s back-end, you’ll also notice a number of other new features and upgrades:

  • A clickable “Refresh Prices” button, located on the buy/sell modal, which refreshes automatically periodically.
  • The ability to sort markets from newest to oldest (in addition to existing sorting by volume and liquidity).
  • A “Download History” button located on the Portfolio tab under “Show your Activity” which…

Tl;dr: Due to rising Ethereum transaction fees and Polymarket usage, deposits and withdrawals have been experiencing regular delays. We hear our community’s suggestions and are tirelessly working on solutions, outlined in this post, to remedy the situation.

Description: “This is a market on if Donald Trump will win the 2020 US presidential election. This is not about the popular vote — it’s particularly about if Trump will win the election, as defined by the electoral college system, and set to still be president come next term. Market will resolve to “Yes” if Donald Trump receives the required number of electoral votes to win the presidency, whenever it is called. If Joe Biden or any other candidate is declared the winner of this election officially, this market will resolve…
